This small edition dics opens the new edge of sonic revelations by LUNAR ABYSS. The concept-defying suffix Dormit Odd - "strange sleeping one" - this says it all... or maybe understates, as you wish, - continues using Latin: Dormit is a sleeping one, an entity (unlike Somnio, the pricess of dreaming), and Odd is just odd, that's it (although in the Nordic tradition this word is used to determine the energy flow, like Chinese "chi" or Tibetan "la"). The project lies in the field of drone, these are analogue-synth semi-acoustic soundtrack for dreams, flat like a pond surface in a still clear weather; all natural sounds and fieldies used for a sole purpose of pacifying mind and quick getting asleep. An impulse for this idea was found in our own release Lunar Abyss "Aikana Uni", which basis was recorded accidentally while dreaming, by a flow of sounding equipment settings and instruments, and later reworked. Starting from this release, we take it as a rule this strategy, the results of which will be published under the name of Lunar Abyss Dormit Odd.

Этот малотиражный диск открывает новую грань звуковых откровений проекта LUNAR ABYSS. Определяющая концепт приставка Dormit Odd - "странный спящий" - этим всё сказано... ну или всё недосказанно, кому как угодно, продолжая использовать латынь: Dormit - это именно спящий, как субъект (в отличие от Somnio, процесса сна) и Odd - странный, просто странный и всё тут (хотя в северной традиции этим словом обозначается поток энергии, аналогично китайской ЦИ или тибетской ЛА). Проект стилистически гудельный, аналогово-синтезаторный полуакустический саундтрек для снов, ровный, как гладь пруда ясной тихой погодой, природные звуки всякие, полёвки - исключительно для целей успокоения ума и скорейшего засыпания. Толчком для развития этой идеи, этого ответвления, стал наш собственный релиз Lunar Abyss "Aikana Uni", основа которого была записанна случайно во сне, потоком звучащих настроек аппаратуры и инструментов, и после доработана. Начиная с этого релиза, мы вводим за правило такую стратегию, результаты коей будут опубликованы под названием Lunar Abyss Dormit Odd.
